Hungry .......!!!! That's how I felt when at the office shows the lunch break at about 12.00 pm. Still confused about what to eat, suddenly remembered that not far from the office is only about 5 minutes walk there is a cafe "Soto Ayam Kampung Gentong Asli" that is written on the banner.

Time ago Gentong is a traditional equipment made from clay which used to store water and to cook the soup, rounded shape tends oval. Back on Soto Gentong, when entered into the cafe, answered questions about the origin of the name Gentong. It was not like the Soto mostly in Tulungagung who wore a large pot for cooking Soto, here used the Gentong can be seen in picture below.... Of course, the purpose is to increase the taste.

There is a waiter who came to ask for the order and there's only one kind of food here so I ordered Soto Gentong one portion, less than 5 minutes the order has been presented in front of the eyes, the smell of fresh soto immediately seduce me to eat immediately. Besides using original range local chicken, there are pieces of boiled eggs and koya (mashed prawn crackers) adds savory flavor on the tongue.
